I use Preview, QuickTime play, and iMovie all had similar issues.
There was quite a lot of noise during the early part of the clip when the ambient music wasn't so loud. However, when this clip was replay using DJI GO, those noise does not exist.
Hello.
When you playback your audios in your Mac and in the DJI GO App, do you use the same Mic to test the sound? The audio output effect may also depend on the quality of your Mic.
Please always check the original files in the SD card.
In my opinion, the noise in your audio is in our tolerance. When the ambient is loud, the noise may be covered naturally.
When you play back on the Go App, you're playing it on your phone, right? My guess is that your phones tiny speakers don't reproduce the horrendous fan and motor noises as well as your larger, more dynamic Mac speakers.
Really appreciate the quick response. Thanks.
I test it again in a quiet room (windows closed, no aircon, no fans) and merged the two outputs in the video below. To me, it is not ambient fan noise but seems to be how the file is encoded.
Thanks for your further tests.
To be honest, the audio in your iPhone should be picked up by your iPhone, the sound in the SD card is recorded by the Osmo itself.
Our engineers will try to improve the quality of the audio in the future.
