how many poles is the mini jack min input socket? 3 as opn the flexi mic.
Just Im trying to use a sony ECM-PS1 mic (was upplied with a Sony Camera) and im finding , although it does work, that the range of pickup is poor, there is quite low level and there is a lot of background noise / hash.
The flexi mic has 3 poles too on the jack but the difference is that the Sony is a Stereo mic? Might this be the cause of the difference?
