Flying around today and my camera got stuck in the down position. Whenever I tried to raise it, it would only go up a little and shudder. I only got it in early May and have not even had a hard landing.  

I had read in a post somewhere about performing a gimbal calibration while aloft. I figured I had nothing to lose so let the bird hover in GPS mode and performed the calibration. It moved around a bit, snapped to attention and performed fine after that. I flew it around for a while, brought it home, changed batterries and flew again without any problems.

I will fly again tomorrow and see what happens.

Hello skipilot1, I'd suggest you to calibrate the IMU as well as the gimbal on a horizontal platform.Then you can adjust the gimbal roll speed more faster.
