I have a Phantom 3 Standard and after the last firmware update, 1.6.80 version, when i fly about max 50 meters the DJI GO ap says disconnected and asks me to activate RTH, but i can control the drone, it is responsive to my commands, just the wifi signal is lost and the video becomes black and white. I spoke with dji support and they say to update the Remote Controller to, and they give me this tutorial: , but this shows just for advanced and professional models. I can't find anyware how to update Phantom 3 Standard Remote Controller. Please help

Hey, I dont think the P3S Rc needs to be updated. Remember that only the Advance and the Profesional use Lightbridge technology. Thats probably why we dont see a video on how to update it.

This is what i got from DJI
I have a phantom 3 standard and I keep getting No Image Transmission.

Remote Controller Firmware Update/Downgrade via DJI Go App  

1. With AC and RC on and linked, enter the DJI Go App and press and hold the upper-right icon for 5-6 seconds until a black screen pops up.
2. Select firmware to update/downgrade to.  
3. Disconnect from the P3 WiFi and connect to the home/local WiFi.  
4. Download the firmware.  
5. After fully downloading the firmware, disconnect from the home/local WiFi, and connect to the P3 WiFi.  
6. Update/Downgrade the firmware.  
7. Do not exit the application during the process.  
8. The app will notify if the update is successful. If it fails, please redo the update process.

I hope this helps, im doing this myself as we speak. It takes 30 mins and i hope it solves it, no one seems to know whats going on with this issue.

Make sure you’re logged into the dji go app at all times or it will restrict you

i am logged-in all the time, i think it is a problem with the antena inside the drone, i will open the drone to check if the conectors are right

Hi, we've replied your another post. Have you tried to fly the drone in different open areas? If yes, how is it going? To ensure the safety and performance, we'd recommend you to send it in for evaluation and get it repaired by engineers.

Installation: Ok
Finished installation can restart

I restart
My order no longer lights up, nothing nothing bind even light up

Mine did the same withouth argteck, the range decreased with every flight until it is "note connecting" even at close distance from the drone (20 cm), it says just signal lost...my drone is a brick now
