Hi All,

I have noticed that while running 4K @ 30 FPS, the video will cut off @ 9:20 and then create a new video file that finsishes the reaminder of the recording, instead of creating one video file for the entrire duration of the video. I have tested this multiple times with 4K 30 FPS, and always the same result. I have not tried this with 1080P @ 60FPS yet. Has anyone else run into this?  I am using a SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB UHS-I/U3 Micro SDXC Memory Card.

Thanks!!

Generally 4gb is the max that can be held in one file.

Is there anyway around the 4GB limit? I haven't been able to find anything yet. My guess is that this is in the firmware?

For USB sticks, I know you can format it to a (Non FAT32 format) which lifts the maximum file cap. Is there any way of doing this for a Micro SD?

I am using the std micro SD and the video pauses every few seconds. Camera setting? The RC monitor does not show this.

Stop using low cost micro SD cards, these do not work fast enough to write the video stream.
The sandisk Ultra only supports FULL HD video.  It cannot handle 4K video.   Sandisk extreme series (double to tripple the price) do handle the 4K video stream.

Class 10 and U1 speed ratings for SD Cards is simply to slow and can only be used for recording Full HD videos.
UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) is what you need for the capture of 4K video.

SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC is a card you can use that works fine with 4K video.
