DJI GO App 2.8.3 for iOS IS OUT! Fix transmission weak signal issue

Fpv image is TERRIBLE!! I think i quit... need to sell this.. nothing is not working on Dji anymore

Taking the plunge.. Yippeekiyay..!!!

What about Phantom 3 standard and 4k?

There is an update for P3 users too for iOS.

so 2.8.3 also not fixing the problem ???

Well, I have just updated to 2.8.3 and so far no sign of weak and broken transmission, It is too late to fly now so I will give it a good run tomorrow, I have tried the auto front lights off and it works perfectly, when shooting video they just say off until you stop recording and when in stills mode you just press the shutter button and the lights go out for the photo and then are straight back on.

Is auto LED on and off a new feature with 2.8.3?  It isn't described in the release notes.  That might be what it takes to make me finally update from GO 2.4.3.

I read that is a "known" issue by DJI. The short fix is, while connected to the AC, select camera settings - Color - select "None" - exit - go back in and choose which ever color scheme you want. Only needs to be done one time to "unstick" it.  It worked for me.

So I updated the firmware and the App for my iPad today – and I´m also having the huge problem with the blurred image which is not only affecting the preview on my iPad but actually the shot footage from today! It is simply out of focus. I read about the fix by changing the color modes. That works – but only until you switch back from video to photo mode. Then you are back to „blurred“ again. Any other ideas? Or do we have to wait for another update?

My App updated today..   I was wondering if my range was limited.    Hope this helps.  Looking forward to trying the update.   Is there an update for the Drone CPU as well?

Yes it is a new feature in the 2.8.3 release, I am not sure where I read it, but when I tested the new release I was aware of it, and when tested it works very well, very convenient.

This update is not fixing my transmission error and black screen on my p3a. Still no working drone!
