How is the new 2.8.3 working

Anyone replying to this thread PLEASE specify whether your aircraft is P4, P3P, P3A, or P3S.

P3 4K My Bird is flying just fine, no issues.

My P3A had video transmission  issues previously (some intermittent video even at less than 50m metres away)  but worked fine today at about 600m  using 2.8.3.  I can't claim that my test today was scientific  but with no video issues at 600m,   2.8.3 looks promising (iPad Mini 4).
I hope to try a greater distance in the next few days.

P3P, ipad mini 2, 18000+ ft no problem.

question, though:  I have seen folks commenting on the "red arm light auto off" feature with this update, that apparently turns off the front lights when the record button is pushed.  I assume this is for P4 only?  I cannot find such a feature with my P3P.

I have a P3A and this feature was the only reason I was considering updating to GO 2.8.3.  After seeing the post about this in another thread, it appears this feature was introduced in the P4 firmware 1.1.410.  I just checked the release notes for that firmware.
Guess I'll stick my old reliable GO 2.4.3.
BTW - Litchi 1.7.0 for iOS has front lights on/off via C1 button.

P4 with all latest firmware updates and using DJI GO 2.8.3, all working well barring the vertical drop after a sudden stop, and there is an ongoing problem with streamed image focus, both known issues though.

I have the PH4, I have put 4 batteries through so far and totally gone are the 2.8.2 issues, it is now a very clean steady signal, and the lights out feature works a treat,  The switch for the AUTO LIGHTS OUT is in the camera settings (CLICK ON THE SPANNER), it is the 4th feature down this list (this is correct for PH4) I do not know about other models.

Just tested the 2.8.3 update it was really stable I was able to take further than ever with this update  this is a great version 100%
