So there I was my first flight after the update to 2.8.1 ( FM still only half works no right stick controll ) and everything else I tested seems to be as before.
On my second flight I had the usual "waiting warm up" then "safe to fly" At this point I took a little longer with my take off. Which was just as well because an error message came up about incompatible hardware and the battery had zero power. (if I had got it into the air it would have fallen out of the sky) I suspect it was because the battery had not been used in the updating. Be afraid, be very afraid.
