It would be nice to have a camera protector which will work when the ND filter is left on.
I hate having to take it off and place the standard UV filter on, in order to use the standard
camera protector when I store it away.

Can DJI offer another one which can work with the ND filters?  I would be happy to pay for it,
(and I suspect others would too) because it will cost me (us) a lot more later if the threads go on the camera!


Does anyone know if there is a third party camera protector that works with the ND filters?

I received this nice unit from "POLAR PRO" for free (not inclusive of the "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT " tag) with an order of their Cinema series filters. They claim it will fit over almost any of the after market filters out there and after looking at it I believe them, it certainly fits over all of theirs and the NEEWER units I have which some have a very wide rings on them.

I order the Polar Pro but I only got cloth bags for them!

I am looking for the gimbal/camera plastic protector tough, which locks the gimbal and protects the camera.

It wont fit when the the polar pro filters are on.

I bought the polar pro gimbal lock that Cale262 showed.  It works perfectly with the ND filters.  It doesn't take much to support the gimbal and the Polar Pro has plenty of play for pretty much any ND filter.  It does a great job and is easier to use than the DJI gimbal lock.  Also, this gimbal lock can stay on when you place the drone in the DJI System case that came with your Phantom... nice to be able to leave the ND filter on when packing the drone away for the night.
I have to say though... wish I had that sweet "Remove before flight" tag.

"Kind of" just a cover... it clips on to the gimbals mounting point to hold the camera and gimbal in place.  Does a great job.

I bought the 3 pack set from BH Photo many months ago, I want a lens cover but I purchased from BH Photo

I appreciate the generous offer, but as you can see from the pic below, I already purchased it!

I hope others can benefit having these great filters and the free offer! These filters make a
huge difference in video improvement, especially on sunny days over the beach.

I also purchased the Aboom guard under it, because I use a backpack sometimes,
so the guard ensures that there is no pressure on the gimbal from below.
PS: I had a name change too!
