Hello there, im happly to announce that i got my p4 yesterday. I live in uk/lndn and as you can guess wheather is not suitable most of time and its forbidden with drones in many places here. I know its not like real experience but i still want to try some drone simulators by using my p4's controller. Do u know how to my recognize it to my computer somehow as an input device ? (not want to play the one comes with ios app.)

Well, many people read it but no one replied it..

Can anyone say how to understand when battery of the phantom have fully charged ? All lights of battery's are flashing like from little to big one. Should i stop it at one point ? Or it can stop own its own ? And same question for the controller ?

I have no information on using simulators other than DJI GO APP.  For battery charging all  lights flashing is nearly full, ( there is a chart in the manual).   When the charge is complete the battery will turn off & all lights will be out.

When the battery is fully charged all the lights will go out.
Remember, if the battery is nearly full, you have to power it on first then connect it to the charger otherwise it will not top off the charge.

Don't worry about flying dude, head out of town and find a big flat area. Read the manual, watch the tutorials.. and have fun. Easier than you think!

yes, in simulator mode and aircraft powered up and connected to your computer, the RC has all the functions as regular flight.And the simulator is working fine now.

Please, please, please just READ the manual at least TWICE from the first page to the last otherwise your shiny P4 will soon be a piece of garbage. All the answers to your questions and much more are in the manual.
Don't understand why you would want to use the RC connected to your PC but there is a simulator included in the RC-app. Try that one !

Yes, for the P4 you connect the aircraft to your computer via USB cable and run the DJI Assistant2 software.

No, the simulator for the P3 is in the Academy section of the app. from the homepage, it's the graduation hat icon upper right.

So, i should i connect my phantom to the pc for using my dji controller ? Cant i directly connect the controller via usb ?

Im planning to use realflight and aerofly simulators which is installed my computer ?

The Assistant simulator is for the P4 only and uses the P4 RC.
If using a different flight simulator I have no idea if the DJI RC will work.
Try it and if it doesn't, then you have your answer.

I couldnt make it. Nothing happens when i connect the controller to computer. Should i connect it with big usb socket or the little one ?
