Since the Go app and drone firmware are independent of each other, the order in which you update shouldn't matter.
Probably why no one else responded. ;-) so download the new Go app, then upgrade the drone, and do them batteries last.

I believe the manual/tutorials  state to update the app first if needed, the AC next if needed, the RC next if needed, then additional batteries.
