Interesting to note:

32.8 ft minimum AGL to enter Follow Me function mode. Once mode is applied, I can bring AGL down to 13.8 ft before it balks.

Is there any functional difference between 'P-Mode' and 'F-Mode before an IOC is selected and applied'?

Yes there is F-Atti in such kind of situation. Or I should say they are the same except the intelligent functions

Thanks. It appears P4 has combined P-Mode & F-Mode on the Flight Mode switch to make room for S-Mode.
