I have been away from the drone scene for a couple of year, i am coming from DJI Phantom 2V+ and i am considering making a purchase in summer.

I am totally inlove with the Inspire 1 but i have concerns over the flight time and mobility. Also looking at the P4 is cheaper and packs more tech, however i would prefer to '' upgrade'' and join the Inspire family of drones.

I am looking for a 5years device into the future.

Great time to buy the Inspire 1 and it would be a great choice. As far as a 5 year investment .... not sure you can achieve this with any of the drone technology's today. its moving way to fast

Get what you want now and enjoy it today. You will not be disappointed with the I1

If you have any photography experience / skills, you would be limited with the P4. Inspire has room to grow with different cameras and lenses, focus, f-stop, etc.
I started with a P3 Pro and quickly moved to the Inspire because of limitations of camera. I have the Inspire Pro with X5 camera and love it. I have had no problems whatever with it.
