What type of coaxial cable and connector is attached to the antenna in the landing skid of the Inspire 1. I need to replace it.

Right, but the other end has a connector, what type connector is it? And is the cable RG178?

No duh. There are 2 ends to that cable, one in the landing skid and one in the body. What type connector is in the body?

Thought you where referring to the "Landing skid" as per your post, sorry have no idea what connector in the other end.

The Inspire 1 uses what's called an MMCX (micro-miniature coaxial) to connect the coaxial to the flight controller and the other end of the cable (where it attaches to the antenna on the landing gear) is soldered directly on. If your buying a connector to use on the end of the cable make sure you buy the MMCX MALE type. As for the coax cable DJI uses I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure you could get away with RG179 or 178. I actually modified all 4 of mine and used RG58 and it works way better.

Hi I was reassembling my Inspire 1 after a crash and broke the MMCX connector and pin. Would these connectors from showmecables  work as a replacement?
