I am looking what high resolution still image cameras can be mounted on the Matrice 600.
Using the Ronin MX is an option.
What is the highest resolution camera that can be used with the Ronin-MX?
I would like 36MP if possible, such as the Sony a7R.

Alternatively, are there any other gimbal options that will take a ~36MP camera?

What you are asking is funny, because the amount of megapixels doesn't affect gimbals, you can put ANY camera in the ronin MX if it has the right specs, and i mean by WEIGHT and DIMENSION, of the camera, for example, if you want to know wich is the highest megapixel camera that you could mount in it, search for the highest megapixel camera available in market at a reasonable price, then see how much it weighs. Hasselblad has a 100mpx camera, and you can mount it on the ronin.

As valealvarez said, the MP would not affect its ability to be used with the Ronin MX or the M600, you are only limited by the dimensions of the camera itself in order to fit on the Ronin MX.
