Im interested in having my Phantom 3 standard follow me on the Jetski. My phone is in a life-proof case, the remote....not so much. (Tracking point don't capture well)

Get litchi app, use optical follow me. Test the hell out of RTH on low battery as well as on lost signal. also lookout for DJI GO and Litchi being up at the same time, so do some serious testing until you are VERY comfortable with this. I do not know if Litchi has optical follow me on non Android devices.

If it's a sit down not a standup it may work but you have to make sure you somehow get good antenna orientation which I don't know how you can do that unless your on a sit down and someone is with you.
Make sure to set RTH to hover.
