I was quite sure, as most here were, that overnight folks would come crawling out of the woodwork with all sorts of "Drone Certificate Courses" even though no one but the FAA test writers know what is going to be in the written exam. Unless they have a mole inside the FAA none of these "schools" know anything, they are just guessing. As a licensed commercial pilot, I'm betting any good private pilot ground school will be just as effective.

Anyone car start their own drone course and have completion certificates but that does not get you from having to take the FAA test.
The part 107 test is for current exemption holders and if you are a current FAA licensed pilot than you can take the test for your Remote pilot certification.
For anyone who does not have an exemption, you will have to take a test at a FAA approved facility when the test becomes available.
Call the flight schools at your local airport, usually one of them will be an authorized FAA testing facility.
You do not need any assistance in getting your Remote license, just study and take the test when available.
Even the 333 exemption could be easily done with just a few hours or work in writing and submitting your petition.

Everything one needs to pass the upcoming knowledge test...and free. If I didn't already have a pilot certificate, I'd spend the time between now and August studying the PHAK. (not what it sounds like)
I also expect the feds will issue a study guide, they have one for every airman's written exam. STUDY GUIDES
