Did you reset Home Point to AC position on the way up?

We can change the home point but cannot change the measuring altitude after start flying. So I don't need to do any extra command after started flying.

I tried to extract the video to my PC to add audio to it but could only get half of it.  I did not understand the Chinese characters to continue in the video.  Can you put this up to YouTube, or send me a copy?

Looking at the traffic and smog, I can picture the 405.  I don't think there is a filter for that, so you did good!

Hey, The pictures look interesting, but can you put the video on youtube, I mean the website your video is in is in chinese and there are ads eveywhere and I don't understand anything.

Please Don't! I know it can be done and I believe you did it. I know how to do it and I have not posted it when people have asked how. The reason is pretty simple in that we will have everyone trying it and that will create more problems that we don't need. Please do not post it.

It is the new building at Shenzhen，just finish construction last month. Named: Shenzhen Ping On International Financial Centre.

That was beautiful....I need info on how it was done....I have mountains that I want to capture in pictures but the elevation would make it impossible.

Wow, very impressive!  And brave, I still freak out when I'm 200 feet up.

I thought at first you might be getting around the 500m limit because DJI sold different versions to different countries (not saying that's true, just my first thought).  But since you say you have a method, I'm thinking you're fooling the barometer somehow.  Either going up high and starting it up, then rushing back down before your battery drains too much.  Or maybe creating a vacuum chamber, and starting it up with low pressure so once out in normal pressure it doesn't think it's at 0 until it's already high up.  At least, I think that's how a barometer works.

There was a way, discovered to trick the drone, and allow it to fly much higher than the set limit.
But I thought @DJI had already made a fix for that, not to be able, anymore?
It's odd to me, that one can't fly up to 500m and reset the home point, to where the drone currently is,
and then simply continue to fly higher up, well beyond that last height?

The drone has to land at the home point and stop the propellers and start them again, then the drone sets the height to 0, if the GPS works.

It has nothing to do with the GPS, the altitude is set by the internal barometer, not GPS. But otherwise correct.

So, landing up in the Eagles nest might be a positive? Hahaha

i think there is no other way, unless mayb downgrade the firmware to the one where they can set a higher limit ?

Downgrading firmware will not do anything for changing mas altitude limit.

Fly up 500m CSC and then it recovers at 400m. Fly up another 500m CSC and it recovers at 800m. Fly up another 500m then CSC... rinse and repeat lol...
The only other way I know is the old firmware with an old 6000m Limit Litchi Beta software.

I'm using up-to-date firmware and DJI GO, firmware cannot be downgrade to such old version.

I know your worry. But someone really need to fly beyond the 500M height limitation to achieve their task. It's not easy, not just merely reset the home point; modify the APP or firmware. People must put some effort to carry out the procedure. Yet this method really work and easy to understand. And no modification is needed for the drone and remote controller. People should make their own decision before to fly high through any method. Including violate the law, risk of fall etc.

Having seen the height you got to, I was more interested in seeing the safe landing at the end before the battery ran out - these things go up a lot faster than they come down while rotors are turning.

Well done for a safe recovery, but in the west you'd be breaking so many laws doing a stunt like that inside a city area.

I'd say whack the drone inside a bag, run vacuum cleaner to suck air out of bag and to fool barometer, then launch?

Thats really cool. I don't think I would want to even go that high if I could! The legal limit here is 121.92 meters (400 Feet), and I get jitters when I'm there!
