Hi Guys,
I have recently had a crash with my Inspire V1, which needs repairs to the airframe and a new X3 gimbal / camera unit as I am told this is uneconomical to repair the gimbal.

" the gimbal is in fact broken, it does power up however it over heats due to damage to one of the motors and when it tilts all the way down the motors shut off."

The cost of the repair is only £150 less than I could purchase a brand new Version 2 airframe ( I alredy have the controllers and batteries)

Can I fly the version 2 without the camera attached??

I am thinking that I could get an X3 camera / gimbal at a later date or even an X5.

Thanks Guys

Yes, the Inspire will fly without the camera attached. You'll get the "No video feed" warning, but it should be expected

Here's some additional threads about flying without the camera.
