Hi all,

Just took my P3 Standard out for its second flight and noticed that the green LEDs blink normal 5 times and then glow red twice. This sequence repeats over and over.

Everything seems fine otherwise. No issues on the app, seems to fly OK, and gimbal works. I looked through the manual and thought it might be an IMU error, but the app says no calibration required. I've even updated the firmware.

Am I missing something? What does this LED pattern mean?

Thanks!

Hello tgcstevens, what was a battery power level? Was it low?

Hi RedHotPoker,

Funny enough, I spent most of yesterday looking at your posts and still have no clue What's especially weird is that the App says everything's fine.

Hello tgcstevens, what was a battery power level? Was it low?

Hi Paladin,

The batteries on the remote controller and drone were both full.

Take the battery out of your bird and wait about 1 minute, then reinsert and insure it is fully clicked in.
Turn on your controller, then your mobile device.  After you launch the DJI Go app, turn on your bird and make sure you have on a flat location and not obstructing the cameras gimbal motors (avoid grass).
Once connected, make sure to perform the calibrations.

Let us know if you still get the blinking error.

Update: Done some more digging around and have seen a similar pattern on the P2 and I think it may be because I'm near (but not in) a no-fly zone. I live in Bermuda and I'm pretty close to the airport. Will take it back to where I had my first flight, test it out, and let everyone know.

Any other suggestions are appreciated!

That looks like a much easier to read guide; thanks!

Here's the closest thing to what I'm getting: .

The only difference is when my LEDs go red they glow twice instead of flashing rapidly like in the vid. This could be because I'm using a P3S instead of a P2.

Again, I'll test far away from the airport later today and update.

Cheers!

I have no idea what is causing this LED diode pattern...
Perhaps, hopefully one of the knowledgable forum mods or another bright member here, can chime in.

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in update.

Took it further away from the airport and LEDs look normal. I guess it was a warning that I was close to a non-fly zone.

Cheers and safe flying!
