I noticed that my video gets messed up and isnt openable if I dont stop recording before powering down the bird?

Any thoughts on how to recover the video file?

It's not always help. Some time you can loose video when power off during recording (it's geting damage). Would be good to add stop recording function as a step to power off sequence.

Re-powering on the Inspire one can always recover the video, but
Adding stop recording tips to the app is also a great idea.

After powering on the bird again I regained my last video but the lost a video taken 2 days prior.

I have to always remind myself to stop video before powering down - But how often I forget.

I have also lost video when powering down. I need to remember to stop recording before powering down.

Also probably a good idea for format memory card regularly to prevent corrupt file system.

I found that I did the same error - powering down and lost the video.

DJI please fix this as a shut down step. Would be outmost helpfull.
