I have read somewhere in the forum that the Sony 37mm ND-8 has been used on the Inspire1 and fits fine.

The filter on the inspire has a female end doesn't it? Most other filters have male ends.... Could be wrong as I usually am...

Yes it's female with VERY shallow threads. I know someone will crossthread or strip the filter sent by DJI.

They all fit. the problem is with the weight. The Inspire lens are 3 grams. the first polorized that arrived was 19! I cut it down to 9 grams and that is a bit better. the set 2,4,8 just arrive today and they are 5g each. Now just to test them all out!

I tried a Tiffen 3 stop ND9 on the Inspire. It worked, but is 9 grams. The extra mass seemed to cause more jello than it solved. It is going back. Someone needs to make Inspire-specific ND filters and at least a 4-6 stop filter. (And 6 stop filter would be an ND 1.6 I believe)

Right, great business op for a filter maker to make what 500 (at most) sets of filters?  And how is the I filter only 3 grams?  Film and not glass? DJI really has the magic formula for filters to make them so light?  Find out who the manufacturer is, buy direct

Well then if that's true one would think they would be offering a filter accessories pack. Or maybe just wait for the next gen camera

Did anyone find a solution?

I'm also looking for specific filter recommendations for additional ND choices.

Snake River Prototyping is developing ND filters specifically for the Inspire. Not sure when they will be ready but I know they are coming.

I bought a set of filters for Inspire, but they are not as clear as original DJI. Picture gets purple tone.

Check out Renaat's filters - they're the right weight, the right thread and are getting great reviews:
