Just tried to update the firmware on the Vision 2+ controller (PVT581 with USB port on bottom) and everything was going smoothly and then recieved a note that the update had failed.  Now when I turn on the power the green light on the RC doesn't light up.

Is it bricked permanently?  When I connect via USB to my PC it seems to be recognised by windows but not by the RC System assistant software.

Appreciate any help that can be offered!

Have you tried to charge it, do you get any red or green in that scenario?

The version of the controller i have has four double A batteries in it.  I have tried changing them.  No joy.  I have opened up the controller and tried to use the reset button as I have found on some other threads, no joy....  

A bit frustrating!
