Just wondering what you guys are using to edit your movies.

I'm new to this game and have been using iMovie but even after a couple of weeks I find it too limiting.

I use Sony Movie Studio Platinum (just under £60), or at least I should say I'm learning to use it. Plenty of transition, video effects and other bits, some which support GPU rendering; so with a nice graphics card/chip many of the changes can be seen in real time on the preview screen.

If you need something for free that is quick and easy but basic, then Windows Movie Maker will do you perfectly.

DaVinci Resolve is free, with some good reviews, plus You Tube has plenty of tutorials for you to get your skills up to scratch.
