Hey guys my name is Charlie,
A few weeks ago i bought myself a Phantom 3 Standard which has been great but a lot of the time when i want to use it, the camera looses connection and says something like : "signal transmission lost" but I' still able to control the actual drone but i can't see the camera from my phone... Please help because it's getting very annoying!!!

Hi, how far away were you from the drone when that happened?
It's common if you're in crowded are since there's a lot of interferences of signal around.

Also, try placing your antenna like this in the video,




and go to an open field with few houses around, and let me know at what range you lost image transmission . Thank you.

I'm always very close to the drone when it looses image transmission! Which is very strange... Thanks for the video I'll have a look at it and get back to you

It's an unfixable problem. Return it !

I have the same issue.

The transmitter can actually transmit and receive a signal from about 20-30m away even if the antenna is unplugged internally,so you could try and fix it which would void your warranty or you could just send it back and they will ship you a new one.

Hey Charlie,  do you just lose video signal or the whole app disconnects?  do you have another device to try, when I use my Galaxy S5 I have that issue and things drop out but not on my Galaxy S7.

Well it only looses video signal nothing else, it's still able to be controlled from the remote.

Well it only looses video signal but the actual drone can still be controlled from the remote.

Try downgrading your firmware, it worked for me and many others

You have to open up your controller which I'm sure voids your warranty so just send it back.

Hi, do as said in this post to downgrade your P3S, it helped a lot of people.

If it still doesn't work, then return/exchange it.
