I am trying to figure out if the GPS on the DJI Phantom is WAAS capable?
I live about 9 miles from a class "C" Airport and I want to make sure my max ceiling height is set correctly to stay well out of controlled airspace. Looks like I am good up to around 1200' but I would like to know the accuracy of the GPS. Hence is it WAAS Capable.

In the USA we hobbyists are limited to 400 feet AGL and LOS operation.

Most all Phantoms contain the NAZA-M V2

I really doubt this low-end hobby flight controller has any FAA or other avoidance system built into it. You can set a maximum height in the NAZA or Phantom assistant. I have mine set at 450 feet even though I never exceed 400...that's just to give me a little wiggle room when the GPS and barometer are not accurate.
