Hi all,
I've been watching a lot of videos on here (as we all do) but I started to wonder where everyone gets there backing music from? They're so good. Do you just search for music on YouTube or somewhere?!?  Also, what's the deal with royalties? If you went for a famous track, is that a concern?

I need to stop asking so many newbie questions...!

Look at MAGIX Music Maker. Its free to try. Make your own background music. I bought the software and make all my background music.

I use Final Cut Pro and there's a bunch of stuff included. They have a free 30 day trial as well and most all editing software. You should download some and chose one you like.
Also, there's a lot of free and pay music websites out there.

PS  the royalty free music link gives you ads on your video and a nag that says you have used someone's music.

Free Music Archive .... FMA for short.

Windows Movie Maker and various editors link directly to FMA ...

I have had odd copyright comments from YT using a couple of FMA songs - I just replied .............. Free Music Archive and it all went away.

I now try to remember to include FMA and Artists name in title or credits to avoid this ...

FMA - you can search using loads of filters to get what you want ..
