Just recceived the m600 and I was realy wondering that DJI is limiting the acess to the Basic Settings for the A3 flight Controller.
DJI Assistant Software is not showing up several meunues which are acessible if you buy the A3 as Standalone Flightcontroller.
Wanted to map a RC Channel of LB2 Transmitter to one of the F1 - F4 Pins to use a remote shutter (Blip Switch)....No way!

No hint in advance, that the A3 that Comes with the m600 is limited in the Setup functions to force the customer to buy DJI Acessory (which is not available yet)...

To clarify, what camera/gimbal set up are you trying to use with the M600?

Jamie, we have different types of remoteshutter (blip Switch, gentled, etc) for every cam we use...all shutters work via a pwm/ppm Signal which Comes from every common recceiver and which also is comming out of the F1-F4 Pins (according the A3 Manual) - unfortunately those Pins are not acessable in the A3 of the M600...

Same problem on my machine. We have all the equipment by DJI solution. Matrice600 with A3 pilot, Lightbridge+2 with slave unit, SRW60G and RoninMX with Start/Stop unit. But the start stop unit is able only to trigger the shutter with 600ms latency. So despite the camera is able to get images at 10Hz, we are not able to trigger it at that speed. Second problem is with our special ThermoCamera inspection equipment. This camera is needed to be maintained by operator during flight. Now we need special 35Mhz RC controller to operate camera itself and Lightbridge 2 slave to operate gimbal. The easy solution is to integrate both functionality on one Lightbridge 2 slave controller for operator. Why it is not possible on matrice 600? We have spend lot of money on this solution, but without the common A3 functionality (PWM output), which is claimed on DJI web sites it turned to very expensive toy without reasonable application.

A3 F port functionality currently does not work with LB2, only SBus. We have been waiting months for it.

The general information is that LB2 requires a firmware update which will open the F ports on standalone A3 only. The information is that it won't be ever available for M600.

How reliable this information is, only DJI knows

There are several threads on this topic going as far back as June.

I do hope you are a  tolerant, patient guy cos you will need to be?
