Hello all,

I am encountering some issues here on my phantom3 Standard, video mode.
I shoot at 1080p...30fps... and I get my footage by way of the DJI go app (download the original file from the phantom drone, onto my phone).

Now, when viewing the video BEFORE downloading, everything is fine. albeit at the lower resolution. However, when I download the actual full 1080p file from the phantom, I notice that the video has a weird thin distortion 'band' at the bottom.
I've attached 2 screenshots. 1 of the video, and another, a close up of the very bottom portion of the video to show you guys what I'm talking about (look at the very bottom of the picture. it is a subtle distortion thin band)

Anyone else with this issue? Weird that it doesn't happen with photos, nor is it visible on the on-screen capture. I'm thinking it's a codec issue vs. hardware issue, because of this.

Thoughts? Possible fix?

sorry mate, I just saw that it got bumped to the second page so thought to do that! Didn't mean to be annoying
I just attached another close up picture. If you look at the very very bottom of the picture, the building isn't meant to curve down to 90* like that...
Hopefully that points it out!

The issue he is referring to is a repeating of the last few lines of the picture. Odd thing to see, but I wonder if it is coming off the SD card like that. I have never seen it before.

It looks like the effect you used to get with a Quadruplex video recorder on replay when the drop-out compensator kicked in. Does it occur at other resolutions? Like 2.7K or 720p?

Hello teknikal90, could you post a dropbox link of the original video from the SD card?

teknikal90 I just take out the micro SD card from the Phantom to get video/images in to my computer. You must also be able to do the same with your phones micro SD card slot. Hope this helps. Michael

Hi DJI Paladin,

I didn't convert and every video does come out like this.
However, I didn't get this straight from the SD as I don't have an SD card reader. Rather, I downloaded the video through the DJI GO app, by way of my iPhone 6. I hope that's the exact same thing though?

Actually you can download original files from the card without SD card reader.Power on the drone and use the USB cable that we provide in the box to connect the gimbal micro usb port to your computer.

When I transferred the video like that, the video is perfectly fine!
It looks like the issue is due to the DJI Go app..

I'll report this to our developing team and now it is recommended to reinstall the app if it is convenient(sync the records before reinstalling)
