Hi friends,

My photos are not syncing into the GO App. When I press the photo playback button on the RC, I receive a message "Connection error. Tap to retry".

I've tried on app version 2.8.3 and 2.8.5 on an ipad mini 2 and ipad mini 4. I appreciate any thoughts or guidance.

Yes. All powered up. I formatted the sd card prior to my flight. The phantom gives an indication of space remaining and I have no issues capturing video and photos during flight. I am shooting RAW only. Do I need to be shooting JPEG also?

Try JPEG+RAW and let me know if it still will not transfer. It should work fine with JPEG
Clear the video cache as well.

Powered off/on tablet, Cleared video cache. Shot photos in JPEG, turned off WiFi, Still no luck.

That's strange, try deleting the app and re-installing.
I did tried and it worked fine, I tried on a P3 and P4 and am on the latest updates.
I tapped a photo, then tapped "Download original Photo", then it showed the percentage and a few seconds later it was done.
I also selected a bunch of photos and it did those as well but not in full resolution.

Tried deleting the app and reinstall. *sigh...still nothing. I assume the app  cannot access the sd card for some reason?

I'm not understanding why it's not transferring. It works fine with all the aircraft I've tested on.
Have you tried a different SD card?
Also try re-linking the aircraft but I don't think it would do anything.
When reinstalling the app, you gave DJI GO all the permissions correct?
In settings on the iPad, scroll down to DJI GO and make sure "Allow DJI GO To Access" for Photos is on.

I tried another sd card. It works fine. Now I hope my week worth of footage is still available on the other card

I can see the remaining capacity decrease when I take a photo, so hoping it's just some odd issue communicating with the app.

I really appreciate all your assistance.

WOW, I'm glad to hear it was the SD card.
If you have not formatted the SD card then all your footage will still be on the other SD card.

Just back home from the trip. Happy to report all 40G of video/photos safe and sound on the SD card and now resting peacefully on another drive. **sigh of relief**
