I just reviewed this retractable landing gear for my PV2+, really considering the retrofit!

Pointless, the vision + camera cant even spin 360 degrees around. I just don't see the point...

I know it's pointless but it looks pretty cool to me !

Yep, pretty cool, if I had $250.00 ready to burn I would burn it on those just for the cool factor,

I seen some way way lower $$$

Don't waste your money.  I bought that exact set and it wasn't worth the time to put them on.   They swing sideways and when you land, if you are moving sideways the least little bit, the downwind side will collapse and set it right on the camera.  The servos are not strong enough to hold it up.  You raise them by toggling the S2 switch 3 times and lower them by toggling them twice.  That will interfere with resetting your home point.

You could Ebay it and at least try to put a couple of $$ back into your pocket...that said, I am pretty sure you have it in the SIN bin!

I wouldn't wish these on my worst enemy.   I've still got it here somewhere in one of my junk drawers.

Thanks Gerry...aka..The SIN bin!
I have one of those junk drawers too..it was getting pretty full and fortunately our years of experience (maybe a tiny bit of wisdom and a wee bit of knowledge), the Internet and ability to do more research easily have exponentially reduced the rate the junk level rises.
