INDEPENDENTIMU

No gimbal can stabilize a camera without tracking how your aircraft isbeing tilted and moved in real time. That’s why the H4-3D has its ownintegrated Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) constantly collecting preciseinformation and feeding it to the gimbal. This IMU tells the gimbal exactly howyou’re moving in the sky and how much countering force is required to keep yourcamera still, every millisecond.

H4-3D and H3-3D Comparison

H4-3D supports GoPro4 Black.

H3-3D supports GoPro3, GoPro3+ Black and Sliver.

Same weight on the gimbal leads me to think its the exact same thing as the H3-3D, no bigger motors, not any new improvements over the old H3-3D, so why do we need to pay more?

Why won't the H4-3d work with the Hero4 Silver? How much will the GCU cost?

Will the H4-3D w/GP4 Black feed video via the usb cable to the CGU then to IOSDII or miniosd? Does this make the GoPro 4 Silver unsupported on either H3-3D or H4-3D?

Its the same system used by the H3-3D and the Hero 4 Silver is supported by the H3-3D without any problem, just use the last H3-3D version with USB ribbon cable on the side.

Agreed. Configuration change most likely. Probably apply the H4-3D firmware to an H3-3D and presto magico, your gimbal now works for the H4B.

Something is very wrong with your camera or gimbal, the H3-3D with USB cable works fine for both Hero 4 Silver and Hero 4 Black outputing video for FPV, the only problem with the Hero 4 Black is the weight, it has 12g more than the Hero 3+ Silver and that causes the gimbal to became unbalanced.

Many instances on the forums where video out from usb cable on GP4  Silver or Black to H3-3D to GCU to IOSDII or miniosd doesn't work but can see OSD data.  Agree that balance is an easily fixed issue but have yet to see someone show me AV2 output from an IOSDII thru a H3-3D/GoPro4 silver. Gimbal works fine if I unplug usb cable from gimbal and run GoPro on its own battery power.  That may be a definition of working fine but my expectation was video out thru other DJI components like IOSDII.

Good luck trying to sell the same thing as the H3-3D but with higher price...

H4-3D complete NAZA V2, module GPU H-3D not control the speed of inclination (tilt). Tilt speed camera as big as in previous versions H3-3D, H3-2D. Are provided for addressing this issue. Announced the release of a new model this problem H4-3D promised to solve.

It probably will work.

The H3-2D controller would happily drive an H3-3D (I installed an H3-3D gimbal onto a Phantom 1 with a Phantom Upgrade Board (H3-2D controller) and it was fine.
I've also seen guys who installed the H3-3D onto F550's using the GCU modules from H3-2D's because in the early days you could only really get H3-3D's for the Phantom 2 (integrated gimbal controller already).

So given that the H3-4D seems to just be an H3-3D with different gains applied and a notch removed from the different button position... I'm sure it'll probably work fine.

Hi christyindublin， yes, you can. Connect the Phantom to Phantom assistant, you can upgrade the drone and gimbal's firmware. Regarding your problem, please try calibrating the RC.

Then you could have one camera (GoPro) for FPV while another operator used a X5 or X5R.

How can I calibrate Zenmuse H4-3D. The horizon is falling.
