Hello,

I have just returned from some travel with my inspire 1 where i was flying above salt water and sand. I got to thinking about the maintenance after flights in these conditions. Can anyone recommend a lubricant for the central screw? Also what is the best process for getting ride of the sand particles that may end up in the inspire 1. Thank you for your recommendations

I use canned air to blow my inspire out and a drop of mineral out on the screw.

Most people I've heard doing this use a very small burst of 'Tri-Flow' after a blow out with compressed air.

That's what i was thinking i was worried that spraying to close could harm the rubber since that stuff get very cold. So i'll just do it from a distance. Thanks for the suggestion

I use copressed air to clean and CorrosionX for lubrication and corrosion prevention.
Works really well on all types of equipment

Last I checked, the maintenance and service manual said to use WD-40.
