The main thing you would want to decide is if you want to do aerial shooting along with ground use. If you want to do both aerial and ground work, then you would want the MX. If you are solely doing ground work, then the Ronin would be best since if can accomodate a larger variety of cameras.
Both have equal stability on the ground. The major difference is the stability when attached to an aircraft, like the M600, where the MX would be best. Also, the Ronin would not require much effort to balance, where the MX would need additional equipment to balance.
