i was wondering if the new gopro hero 4 black edition will fit the zenmuse H3-3D gimbal on my phantom 2. It releases on oct 5 this will be a major factor in my purchase of the new gopro cam as I already have the black 3+ ?

If it does work then I will buy a phantom 2

it seems to have the same footprint so im hopeful it will work fine. wont know till it rolls out.

The new Gopro hero 4 uses a completely different battery to the other models.

Some folks are saying you need to grind off part of the HD-3D to avoid the new highlight tagging button being depressed: http://instagram.com/p/tiSe-ipu7G/ They also glued a penny onto the gimble to re-balance the weigh of the new style battery.

Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal is specially for  gopro hero 3, won't fit for hero 4.
