With the days getting shorter, I have found myself flying at or after sunset lately. So in the fading light I have experienced increasing ISO's  and the subsequent video noise associated with that. Yesterday I flew after sunset and when I took off the ISO started at 200 and went to 400 immediately. 10 minutes later it was at 3200 and of course the results are not pretty.
So my question is this, I am flying the P3A. Does the P3P (or the P4) have better low light performance than the P3A?

The Pro camera is identical to the Advanced and the P4 has the same sensor with only a slightly different lens.
You could look at keeping the ISO as low as possible and using a longer shutter speed.

I think (for video) the shutter is as low as it will go. Agreed with stills though.

ISO noise is affected by not only the sensor but also the electronics behind it, so was not sure if any others had upgraded processors or not.

No, the only difference between P4/P3P camera and that of P3A is that the latter one lacks a chip to encode in 4K..
