Hey guys - This is my firsy attempt at a 360° panoramic photo from my phantom 3 professional. Not perfect, but again - first attempt! Will be doing many many more of these in much cooler places!

Thanks! Here's the second! Lol.... Did this one during the middle of the day and in Downtown Orlando. Came out cooler but some mismatched lines. Gotta get some practice in.

I used DronePan to take the photos (20) and then I used AutoPano Giga 4.2 to stitch the photo - From there you change the photo's size to be a square, flip the image 180 degrees (upside down), and then use the distort > polar coordinates filter (in photoshop) to get the polar coordinates (circle planet) image. I haven't had that problem yet... Are you doing the same thing?

No problem! Just a heads up - Every time I use DronePan to take all the photos immediately after it completes the pano I go back to DJI Go and it will say "Disconnected" - Don't freak out! You can close the DJI Go App (while flying) and reopen it and it should connect fine. Either way - I've learned that you don't have to be "connected" or have any view on your ipad, phone whatever you connect to you RC with - to control the aircraft. First time I freaked out cause DronePan froze and DJI Go said "disconnected"... It's all good tho.. as long as you keep your cool.

ive used litchi to take lots of these, but i just have collections of 62 photos since photoshop would stitch em correctly, but not in the way id like it to, and using other presets it would mismatch the photots, let me rety with autopano.
I've never heard of that one, and ive looked for other tools to stitch good 360 pans for days, and haven't found anything good

That's just down right funky dad!  Makes the world look pretty small all the sudden.

ahh Thanks, yeah I defiantly would have shat my self. I think the key thing here is the drone pan, thats the reason yours are coming out so much smoother...!

Its surprisingly detailed. You can even see the colors of the horses at wind dance farm, and this was taken over 1000 ft above my house!
