Have not tried myself but max for Phantom 4 is listed as 64gb. Believe this was only 32gb for earlier models but I stand to be corrected. Guess even if it did read the card there would be high chance of corruption so you could end up losing your video or photos.

I used a 128 GB micro sd card in my Phantom 4 before I lost it. It worked fine as far as I could tell.

Guess reading DJI's material is states 64gb class 10 is max supported. They don't say larger cards wont work but as per my original post there may be a possibility of data loss. This also may vary between different brands of SD cards. Even with my DSLR I tend to use multiple 32gb or 64gb cards as apposed to larger cards. This way I only lose some shots if I get any corruption etc.

well said Mr Walton, that's exactly what I do. I trust what DJi suggests and have never lost any data.
I think I have 3  64gb's and 3 32 gb's all sandisk extreme or extreme plus. Makes for very fast transfer of those large files !

I've used a 128gb card for about 50 flights with no data loss and no problems.

Lots of users have tried bigger cards.
But why would you want to?
Bigger isn't always better.
Data corruption mentioned above can happen but it's would be extremely rare.
A much more common risk is loss of your Phantom and the whole card.
If you have a small card, you don't lose much but if you have a mega-card with your last 10 flights still on it, all that work is gone as well as the Phantom.
Whatever you are recording, you can't even fill a 16GB card in one flight.
For my purposes having 6 16GB cards and swapping the card every flight makes much more sense than one super big expensive SD card.

need a bigger card so I don't have to swap the card everytime.
Changes the card have a risk to corrupt the card because the metal contact can be scratch everytime we take out and take in.

I don't think so.
The card's contacts are designed to be put in and aout without scratching.
I've never heard of any problem with that.
But I've heard of lots of people that lose more than one flight's images when they lose their Phantom.
