Hi all.

As I was learning the vision positioning system, my DJI phantom 3 drifted slowly into my car.  I panicked as it was happening and froze so I couldn't counter it- it ended up on its back on the ground.

On first inspection there is no major damage, just a few scratches and dinks in the blades.

I've since tested it in an open field and it seems to be drifting a little bit- I can't tell for certain because as soon as I saw it drifting, I landed it.

What would be the best course of action, apart from the obvious (which is put it away and never use it again)

Thanks for your help.

To try to alleviate the drifting, you can perform an IMU calibration and another good compass calibration. If the issue persists, the next course of action is to contact the European Support Center for a repair service.

Along with Jamie's response, since the blades struck the ground I would discard them.

IMU Re-calibrate, Compass Re-calibrate. Assure GPS mode. Maybe Re-calibrate controller?
