Do you use the Obstacle Avoidance on the P4?

The reason I am asking is I had it on since day 1.  I fly under 80 foot trees sometimes testing around, so it helps avoid the branches. And it works.
But lately my P4 would only get up to 15 - 16 MPH at full throttle and even if there is no wind?  I used to get about 20 - 22 MPH when I first flew it.

I have calibrated the RC and I am using 2 different RC's having the same speed limit.

Someone recommended I turn off the Obstacle avoidance and when I did, I am now getting speeds in the 30's but it is flying like it is in S mode.  The front of the P4 goes down, just like in S mode.

Is there a way to get better top speed in P without turning off obstacle avoidance?

I am using new props already; but I did not get the RC for the speed issue. I may mod it in the future.
Just curious what is your (or any others) top speed in P mode?

It would be strange if your P4 flies any faster or slower than all the others out there.
In P mode with OA disabled you should get 16 metres/sec in still air.
New or old props will make no difference.

Are the OA sensor cameras clean, perhaps recalibrate sensors ?
As said you should be getting about 22 mph with it on.

Page 58 in manual lists the various speeds to expect.

I haven't done any objective tests, but from memory I get the following approximate speeds with full throttle (plus or minus wind).

P with OA -- 15-20 Mph
P without OA -- 20 -30 Mph
S or Atti -- 45 - 50 Mph

Speed depends on forward tilt.  The more you tilt, the faster you go.   A headwind will require even more tilt to maintain speed.  So, you will see the arms and props fall into view on occasion when in in Sport mode and in P mode with OA turned off.

What I'd really like to see is the ability to turn OA on and off using one of the buttons on the bottom of the RC.  That way I could toggle OA on and off without having to go through the on-screen menu system.  I like to have OA on when I'm taking off, landing or flying near obstacles.  But when I'm high and in the clear, I like to cover distance faster without going in to Sport mode.   P with OA off is similar to Sport mode, but much more manageable.

I also like the idea to be able to turn OA using the C1 C2 and also the Looong C1 Looong C2 keys!

And I think it will be so beneficial if we do Home Lock in Sport Mode.

Please DJI listen to client suggestions.

ALso, please add the channel no. in the flight logs.  Very critical log info.
