the video on tablet is low res copy and is not the real saved video you want.
as you noted the sd card has the true HD video/pics.

video on tablet is for viewing while flying etc.
just copy the sd card files to pc and view in full resolution

Your tablet might not be up to the task.  You need a fair bit of processing power to decode the video being sent from the craft to the remote controller.  DJI has a list of recommended devices on this page https://www.dji.com/product/phantom-4/info

What tablet are you using?

also you tab video may not be sufficient to process fast enough
DJI GO uses a lot of resources in tablet.

try a second device if possible
also try a different usb cord

good luck and have fun flying!

The Tab E looks to be sufficient to run DJI Go..  It''s not listed on the DJI page, but it is elsewhere.

The only other thing that might be causing the lines is local interference.   Do you always fly from the same spot?

If this happens everywhere then you might want to contact DJI directly

Welcome to another episode of the Series: P4 Video Transmission Issues

The short story is, you need a very powerful device to get a good video transmission on the P4.

My iphone 5 would not work with the P4 (although it is doing ok with the P3).  My iphone 6 plus is marginal with the P4.  I am waiting for apple to release an iphone using an Intel COre i7-5960X

And the issue does not seem to be distance related, as mine still has video issues a few feet away.
I think it is a temeperature issue (P4 and Device temperature)
Try keeping the device cool, and also see if it is better when the P4 is cool. Try it inside an air conditioned room and see if yours is also susceptible to temperature.

Hey all I just want to say thank you for all your input. You guys were right, the Tablet  I bought I took back because it did not have enough power for the video The TAB E just can't do it in my opinion.
So I just bought the nexus 2 I am hoping it will do the job.
Thank you All
Ron

try using another device for your monitor like your phone. I took that advice and it paid off
My brand new Tablet did not have the Power to process the video.
