I just got a brand new P3P today after two crashes with my previous two. The new controller doesn't have a usb to cord to my iPhone or iPad. While working off wifi off the controller it is not picking up well at all. I was 700-800 ft and it was getting a weak controller message and once I brought the P3P without incident it was giving me a disconnect and the P3P was not holding up like it was wanting to come down when I took my hand off the controller. Is anyone else having these issues? I'm really new to this stuff and I'm in my 3rd and last purchase. Getting to the point I don't even want to fly it afraid it will fall as well. How do I send my flight records? Thanks for the help

If you are flying a P3P without a USB connection something is wrong big time.
If you crashed two and are working on a 3rd I would suggest getting some education (big time). I spent over a year of study and flew about 6 toy machines for MANY hours before I ever attempted to fly a Phantom. These are not for non-technical newbies.

Are you sure you have a P3 Pro?
The P3 Pro controller has to have a usb socket to connect to your tablet.
It does not work with wifi at all.
Something's not right with your story.

I see it now I have a P34K this is not cutting it at all. Glad I didnt pay much for it. The flying is not really the issue to crash two I had two bad battery's and once they reached 30% they both fell out of the sky due to damaged cells. Have any idea how to make this controller work better or will I need an updated controller with usb? Flying 700ft will not cut it. Way worse than the pro I had.

The P3-4K uses wifi to communicate with the tablet and has no USB socket.
The controllers for the Pro and P3-4K are incompatible and not interchangeable.

It sounds like  you either have had an extraordinary run of bad luck or need to do a little reading of the manual.

They are very different.
One uses wifi and the other uses Lightbridge.
One is last generation and the other is latest technology.

The 4K is cheaper for a reason!

The chances of having two bad batteries is VERY low......why is it that only new pilots seem to get them and those with experience don't??

Always condition your batteries - flying them no lower than 50% for the first 6 to 10 flights.
Use Deoxit Gold on the battery connections.
Make certain batteries are pushed in all the way.

The Standard and the 4K will have a range of up to about 2,000 feet - but depending on the antenna orientation and/or the area you are flying in it could be less. Only those who are going to use the machine for relatively close in (real estate, etc.) photography should get the Standard or the 4K. They are inexpensive and great for just fooling around but if range is an issue get a lightbridge model.

The Phantom 3 4K is definitely a step down from the Phantom 3 Professional. Less range should be expected. ... If that one is only WIFI expect a HUGE difference.
