I've read that most of the existing Osmo accessories are compatible with the Osmo Mobile, however I've also read that the Osmo Mobile doesn't detach the same way that the standard Osmo does.  Is the Z-axis adapter compatible with the Mobile?

It won't be compatible sadly since the gimbal and handle is one piece, if i'm not mistaken, the only OSMO accessories that are compatible with the OSMO mobile is the ones attached to the side of the handle.

Since the gimbal is fixed to the handle, the Z-Axis is not compatible.
All the other accessories that crews onto the rosette are compatible.

Since the gimbal of Osmo Mobile cannot be removed, Z-axis cannot be mounted.
But we have M1 gimbal, which is separate from the handle.

For Z-xis with osmo Mobile, we have not fully tested, but according to other users' feedback, it works. Please note it should be the Z-axis for Osmo Pro/RAW instead of Osmo/Osmo+.

I really doubt this.
This one would still require for the gimbal to be detached.

Sorry for the confusion, I mean M1, some customers feedback it works with Z-Axis of Osmo Pro, since we have not fully tested it, the stability cannot be guaranteed at the moment.

I don't think it would work with your Osmo Mobile since its gimbal cannot be removed.

Is there any particular reason the M1 would need the Z-Axis for the Pro/Raw ?  Is this due to this version having tension in the spring to accommodate the weight of a mobile phone ?

I think you are right, but officially, the Osmo Pro Z-Axis hasn't been fully tested, the compatibility cannot be fully guaranteed. Please forgive us.
