If someone can advise my Osmo mobile problems with resolution.

1. I use LG G3, set to UHD, which  is  3840 x2160. for video. Video taken in bright daylight.
2. In DJI App Osmo Mobile screen, camera video resolution I choose 1080P.
(But my LG is in 4K resolution, it should show higher resolution than 1080P, why only 1080P)
3. After I took a very short video under this setting. I noticed the vide is in very very poor resolution,I tried it  a couple of times
in different camera direction, it is still the same poor resolution.
4. I stand in the same position, took a photo  with same setting, picture is sharp and normal.

Is my LG not compitable, or I done something wrong, I notice no one is complaining about this issue??????Please refer to the said  video:-

Thanks for the advise.

Thanks 1Mgw169ph1M7 for your kind advise.
But it's completely different from the demo video from DJI.
If you view it in the LG mobile, it's OK.
But view it in the iMac ( only 40% blowup) it's terrible, it's blurr, misty. and totally unshared.
1080 quality  is not like that.

Thanks for advising.

One question:

I noticed when watch it in the mobile, its 100% sharp and crispy. When output the files to watch on computer, its another thing.
Could it be these files only suitable to watch in mobiles and transfer between mobiles is the best choice.
Not suitable for computer watch???????

I just watched a short video taken by iPhone6s, in 720P by Osmo Mobile, on YouTube.
it's sharp and colorful, completely different from the video I took  in 3840x2160.
Can someone explain why it's that?

I just tested the video clip I took from Osmo Mobile, using setting 1080P.
I then uploaded the clip to youtube.
After successfully uploading, when I reviewed the clip, I NOTICED THAT THE CLIP IS IN 360P QUALITY  INSTEAD OF 1080P.
Hows that I used 1080P and end up to 360P???????
Is there something wrong with the Osmo Mobile???????
DJI-Thor, can you help?????????????

DJI-Thor, here is the link, please watch and help, regards

It says the Youtube video is private so I can't watch.

The video taken with DJI Go shouldn't be any thing different from the video taken with your stock camera app.

Please try shooting a 1080P video with the camera app that comes with your phone and see its quality.

My Android phone has the 4K resolution option in DJI Go for Osmo Mobile, so it might be a compatibility issue.

Currently you can try shooting with your stock app to shoot videos if you want 4K, and wait for an update to DJI Go. You don't need DJI Go for the gimble stabilization to work. The only thing different is that you need to press the buttons on your phone screen to start/stop recording, and you don't have Active Tracking feature.

1.Firstly thanks for replying. Thor
2,Sorry, I put the clip on private.
3.I tried setting the LG mobile to 1080P, then set the DJI Go to 1080P , the result is same. (Not  as sharp as you can see on 720P, or 1080P quality)
4.Yes, I quite agreed with you in 4K resolution option in DJI Go for Osmo Mobile might be a compatibility issue. because when I use my sons iPhone, it showed 2160 setting.
5. Quote" Currently you..........." , do you mean I just shoot with my LG Mobile without using the Osmo Mobile handle????
One last thing I want you to know is:
All videos and photos look really 100% very good, sharp and colourful in LG screen. No problems at all.Problems only occur when I transferred the video files onto my iMac to watch,
watching them in small size more or less like 4" x 2", it is still OK, I say its up to 720P quality. acceptable. But the larger I blow them up, the blurrer it become. When it blowup approx. to 7" x 3", it already become
very blur, lost most of the colour. Is it normal????????
Thanks for answering.

3.I tried setting the LG mob ...

Hi, it's not normal. Again, the 1080P shot by DJI GO or your phone's default camera app should have same quality.

I need you to shoot a small clip with your phone's LG app in 1080P, and transfer the video to your computer and see if it's blurry or not.

You can put your phone onto Osmo Mobile, but instead of turning on DJI Go, you can use LG's camera app.

Good morning, Thor

Hi, I'm not sure the reason. I suggest you shoot with your LG G3 camera app + Osmo Mobile gimbal for now, and wait for DJI Go to update.
