Can any body tell me how to enable the 4K UHD resolution in the DJI go app when using an LG G4 mobile, highest setting I can select in app is 1080P.

I have the same problem with my Note 7, highest option is 1080p. At this point I've just been using the built in camera app to do 4k, it stabilizes just fine. Problem is when you wanna use Active Track you can't with the built in camera app. And while I'm on that topic, you can't manually adjust exposure in the DJI Go app anyway (with or without Active Track) so the video quality suffers compared to the built in app anyway.

Seems that DJI just caters to the iPhone for functionality in their devices even though Android powers 86% of smartphones worldwide. If you haven't already, check out the manual (https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... 1.0_EN_20160905.pdf) and you'll notice that some settings and features are only available for the Osmo Mobile on iOS. I don't understand why manual controls would be missing from the Osmo Mobile since they were available for Android on the original Osmo!!

Hi, higher resolution for Android will be added soon, R&D team is currently tweaking the app.  By referring to manual control, do you mean the thumb stick? You can use it in Android also.

For OP, currently you can use your phone's stock camera app for 4K videos, and wait for the update of DJI Go.

No, by manual control I mean adjusting shutter speed, framerate, ISO etc...

Glad to hear they working on an update for Android as the Active track was one of the main reasons I purchased the Osmo mobile.

Active track does work on most Android phones released in or after 2015 that are reasonably powerful. (Quad-core, 2GB RAM+)

Yes Active Track does work on my phone but not if I want to record in 4K as I have to use the phones camera app as the maximum resolution it lets me select is 1080P.

Also how do you change it so video is recorded to the sd card.

It's an app issue that we're aware of and currently we're working on it. You can expect it to be solved soon.

Active Track works well. Follows the the subject great. Unfortunately there are no manual settings for exposure and such on the Android version of the DJI Go app so if your lighting changes (like walking from a dim to bright area etc.) the video ends up looking pretty bad.

Now we're end of december and despite updates there's still no way to get 4K from the LG G4.
Or did I miss stg?

No and all they tell you to do is use stock camera app. Bluetooth controls don't work either.

Hello everyone! So manual setting in Dji App with any kind of Osmo is not working for LG G4  ? Can someone confirm that because I was interested in buying Osmo+ but there is no point if only auto mode is supported...

Check Lg G4 Manual to get details about how to customize resolution settings in your mobile. Here i am sharing Picture ratio and resolution information (video options will vary) :
1:1 ratio: 2976 x 2976 ? 8.9M
4:3 ratio: 3984 x 2988 ? 12M
16:9 ratio: 5312 x 2988 ? 16M

Same problem! When i contacted support several months ago, they promissed to solve this ( i didn't return Osmo mobile to the shop). Several months are gone and nothing is done! I'm angree. I could return it and buy Osmo+.

With built in camera app those buttons on the stick doesn't work. Built in app do not respond on Osmo. 4k is still not usable with Osmo features! RRRRRRR

Seems like the highest resolution video that I can get out of my LG G4 using DJI Go is 720p. What am I missing?
