Because of the GoPro wide angle lens you can only use it in "Selfie" mode but you can easily operate the gimbal when it is turned away from you.

I just finished the design and I am going to print the first one tomorrow. If all goes well, I will offer them for sale.

Here is the final product. It fits perfect and works great. I've attached my phone to the side of the Osmo and using the GoPro app to control the camera and view the video.

Hi zoti and DJI-Thor, sorry for the question but I am a newbie and do not understand how you can use the Osmo Mobile without a Bluetooth connection and DJI app? I want to do the same with my Microsoft Lumia phone ... only use the stabilizing function without the app but found no way to realize until now. Please give me advice.

You use the app to change settings and if you want the camera and Osmo to work together. Like when doing a panorama or long exposure shots.

If you stick the GoPro on it and turn it on it will still work with all the functions that are available via the Osmo controls themselves.

Yes, it works fine. You just won't have active tracking, and can't use the handle to take photos.

Go buy a karma much better options.

A little update. It is possible to use the GoPro facing forward if you use the NARROW field of view option. That along with the new DJI hone holder I bought (great quality on that piece) makes it a very useful piece. Only thing you might need to do is put a piece of take on the sensor.

I also made a mold/mount out of foam for my action cam. I can use it as a front facing cam without the gimbal being in the shot.
