It truly is an incredible machine. Such quality and technology built into a tiny form factor.
The entire gimbal/camera is very tiny.

Does the Mavic have the tilted horizon issue of previous DJI drones or is it fixed now?

Does the "24 cores" refer to the CPU or the GPU? That's pretty impressive if it is the CPU. Is it one CPU with 24 cores or 3 8 core processors or what?

I think it's funny... Did DJI just obsolete their entire line of Phantom drones? I think so. Shit, ill buy the Mavick and sell my P4 immediately.

Obsolete, not at all. Your P4 is a larger and more stable aircraft.
And the Standard is $500, so there's a market for each aircraft.

Loved the presentation and super hyped for this little guy

DJI should of just calling it Phantom 5 and be done with it. The thing is too loaded and expensive for the selfies drones market. Never-the-less, I WANT IT!!!!!

I just put my Phantom 3 Professional on ebay.... (Dutch variation of it)
When I can sell it for a reasonable price I will order the Mavic (Pro Fly more Combo)!

Hopefully there is a way for mounting an ND filter, it would be not too smart to not have a solution for ND filters...

Looks pretty cool. Definitely seems to crush the new GoPro drone (IMO). I don't have either so that's just based off of what I've seen online about the two. I think the most impressive feature that I've read so far is the range! WOW

It truly is AMAZING, it has so many cool features along with the insane range. When taking off, it will take a series of photos of the ground and when you use RTH it will use the GPS to get it really close and then use the photos to make it land within an inch or so of the takeoff point. Basically a photo landing matching up the takeoff photos to the landing ground cover.And also using only yor phone to control it and not the RC, although this feature uses WiFi and the range is very limited. There's just so many cool features.

But I think the biggest think is the feel of the quality, it's so solid and it feels industrial and same with the RC.

2 things I'm concerned about; DJI were very coy on what the glasses actually were.  We didnt see anything of them, only the big white exterior.  With that in mind, I bet it'll be the Mavic 4 before we see them for sale.  Secondly, why are British consumers being charged £999 when its on sale for $999.  At todays release exchange rate the same $999 is only £767.  We are continually being ripped off on exchange rates.  With that in mind, yes, I've ordered one!  HAHA

There will be a possibility to connect these googles to P3/Inspire1 through HDMI or they are dedicated for Mavic?
And what about NFZ/Geo, Mavic have it or not?

No specs on that yet, sorry.

IT IS SO COOL!!!! I think DJI has successfully captured a lot of audience's attention with the Mavic.

Agreed 100%, the Mavic is incredible. Just wait until you hold one in your hand, the build quality is amazing.

About Mavic and the horizon tilt issue: It appears to still be a problem. Go to 33m 42s in the video to see what I mean.

Those are early versions and who knows of the calibrations were done correctly.
As more and more videos appear then take note.

So I know that the DJI Mavic is amazing and i have been holding on until DJI's release to find out which is a better all rounder product to buy.Stuck between a rock and a hard place with between the P4 and Mavic.
I checked on DJI's website for a comparison but there is no option for that as yet.

which would be a better product?
