Why does DJI have to remove settings, even any at all when upgrading apps? Especially those that are useful features that should have been there from the beginning...
The setting to adjust and customize the center point guide on the camera screen was introduced a few app updates ago and with 3.0.0 it seems to be gone.

This is a simple setting to implement. Is there a specific reason it is gone?

Yes - incompetence!
Gone to is the long press of C2 and gimbal level adjust with right control wheel (incredibly useful feature) along with the app remembering your gridline configuration from last time.

Every other company adds features with progressive software releases. DJI takes them away.

Wang really needs to look at the competence of his developers - this hasn't improved in three years!

Ugh.  Is there a way to roll back the Go App?

I agree, this feature was very great. Every other app under the sun that I use introduces new features with updates and never removes them, unless maybe they are totally redesigning the app but the features just get implemented another better way.

It's like with every DJI Go app update they start from scratch and just forget to code back in features that existed before. Like there is no sort of tracking of features and code.

Not even going to mention my desire to get updates that actually introduce significant new features. All these other manufacturers make updates that are a big deal and that introduce significant stuff not just little tweaks and fixes and removals of features people use.
