Hi, somebody know if is able to follow you on bike Downhill (changing altitude to keep you close), and opposite, rising to keep you close? I think not.. Would be awesome

I was told (by a DJI person I think, never sure) in another forum that it has the same restriction as the P4 - so no. Same appears to apply to Terrain following, but that was unclear.

well not quite buddy. its actually advertised as one of the features of the Mavic that can actually ajust the relative height while following a traget.

I am with this guy ^^^^. In the promotional video they talk about that and show a hiker going up the hill with the Mavic in tow. I would assume it can deal with downhill also. How well will be the question.

I also noted that in advertising. Was going up. Not know if work going down. Would be incredible. Any review made tested this..

Per the RCgroups forums someone emailed DJI and received the following response to following downhill:

Wow... looks like the terrain follow feature only works going uphill. I hope they come out with an update to allow it for downhill as well. seems pretty useless. I asked this question to DJI and got this response

Thank you for contacting DJI Technical Support.

We are excited about giving you info about the newest Mavic.

The terrain follow feature though, is only applicable to adjust for uphill follow. Downhill follow is not added yet. Hopefully in the near future.
