When I try and choose a 30 minute motion timelapse option on the DJI Go (i.e. the total filiming time will be 30 minutes, the actual output will be a few seconds long) the app tells me the duration is too long. When I chose 30 minutes or longer in normal timelapse I don't get such a message. I've got over 16gb free space on my S7 edge so i know its not an issue of space either. Any idea what this could be? Why can i shoot 3 hour timelapses in normal mode but I can't seem to pick over 20 minute timelapses on Motion-Timelapse.

Did you ever find a fix? I'm in the same boat.

I am getting the same error with a Samsung S7. I have 18hours 20 minutes of recording time available, but the timelapse gives me the same error for any time over 20 minutes.

Maybe they implemented this on purpose because Motion time lapse uses a lot more battery? Still 20 minutes max when the battery lasts much longer is overly conservative. At least 1 hour please!
